Dr. Jae B. Kim, DVM, MS
Dr. Kim has been the attending veterinarian at California Dog and Cat Hospital since 1986 and has thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it! He has been serving as the official veterinarian of the San Joaquin County Animal Control Services for over ten years and also works with the San Joaquin County Public Health Department in testing for rabies infection. Dr. Kim enjoys the challenge of difficult cases and finds the ability to restore health back to his patients the most rewarding aspect of the profession.
Dr. Kim is married to his wife Jane of 35 years, and together they have raised 3 wonderful children. His hobbies and interests include gardening, reading, spending time with his family, and serving as an Elder at Stockton Bansuk Presbyterian Church.
Dr. Kim has a black Labrador Retriever named Gus and two curious cats named Khapillary and Toki.
